Synopsis for the far southern california coast.. At 1 pm, a 1029 mb high was about 1,500 miles northwest of san diego, and a 998 mb low was over western nevada. Stronger and gusty west to northwest winds this evening through Sunday evening will generate hazardous boating conditions, especially in the outer waters. Weaker onshore flow with a coastal eddy follows for Monday through Wednesday.
